Tomer Cohen

Tomer brings to Locust Walk Partners extensive financial analysis, deal execution, and investing experience. He began his career at Goldman Sachs, where he worked as both an investment banker and risk manager before joining Barclays, where he was a Vice President in investment banking. Tomer’s deal experience includes numerous buy-side, sell-side, and financing deals. He has advised clients on M&A deals valued at over $40B and has helped companies raise over $1B in aggregate. He has extensive cross-border deal experience, and has lived and worked in the US, Israel, and China. Most recently, Tomer served as a portfolio manager at Five Roads Capital, a long/short hedge fund.

Tomer holds an MBA from the Yale School of Management and a BA in Biochemistry and Physics from Washington University in St. Louis. As an undergraduate, he conducted research in chemical synthesis and reaction kinetics at NASA and SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry.

A native of Boston’s suburbs, Tomer lives in Cambridge, MA. He enjoys cycling, hiking, and rec league basketball. He is a CFA Charterholder.

He is a registered rep with FINRA holding his Series 79 and 63 licenses.
