Amanda Schoewe

Amanda is an analyst in Locust Walk’s Boston office. Prior to joining the team full time, Amanda was a summer analyst for Locust Walk. She also worked as a summer analyst for OCA Ventures and an intern for FCA Venture Partners where she participated in due diligence and investment discussions on healthcare-focused deals. Amanda also previously worked for the Addis Clinic, a global non-profit telemedicine company, and has done research with The Chicago Diabetes Project on the role of the extracellular matrix in diabetes treatment.

Amanda holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Medicine, Health & Society with a minor in Spanish from Vanderbilt University. While at Vanderbilt, Amanda co-founded their chapter of the national business fraternity, Delta Sigma Pi, and acted as the CFO of the grocery delivery startup, Vandeats. She also was the teaching assistant for the Technology-Based Entrepreneurship class and she participated in Vanderbilt’s Club Tennis team and Project Bridges, a non-profit that provides tutoring services to refugees.

Outside of Locust Walk, Amanda enjoys backcountry skiing, camping, wake surfing, yoga, and traveling.

She is a FINRA registered representative and holds her Series 79 and 63 Licenses.
