Paxton joined Locust Walk in 2019 as an analyst in the Boston office. Paxton brings significant experience in scientific research and analysis from both academic and industry settings.
Prior to joining Locust Walk, Paxton was an intern at the Massachusetts based company Flexion Therapeutics, where he worked closely with senior leadership to conduct pipeline and drug target analyses that helped inform the company’s corporate strategy. Paxton has also worked as an undergraduate research assistant within the UW-Madison School of Pharmacy and the Wisconsin Institutes for Medical Research, where he aided in the development of a novel 3D-cell-culture platform with various applications in cell biology and cancer research.
Paxton graduated with distinction from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and holds a B.S. in Biochemistry and Certificates in Business and Entrepreneurship from the Wisconsin School of Business. During school, Paxton was actively involved in various student organizations including the Peer Learning Association, Badger Volunteers, and the Badger Barbell Club.
Outside of Locust Walk, Paxton enjoys weightlifting, biking, golf, music, and watching hockey, of which his favorite team is the Boston Bruins.
