Tatsuya joined Locust Walk in June 2020 and brings his experience in marketing and market access to the team.

Prior to joining Locust Walk, Tatsuya worked at Novo Nordisk Pharma Ltd in Japan in the Product Marketing team to support preparations for approval of partials change in anti-diabetic injection, and was a product manager for a launch project of a new diabetes treatment. At Novo Nordisk, he started working in the Market Access & Pricing team responsible for preparing for drug price negotiation for an anti-diabetic injection, investigating drug price scenarios and its risk mitigation. These experiences cultivated his vast knowledge of the Japan Market.

Tatsuya holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Keio University. As a student, he interned for four months in an out-licensing business with a British publication firm in London, and was also involved in web marketing for a start-up focused on the farmland management business in Tokyo.

He is fluent in Japanese (native) and is proficient in English (C1 level). In his free time, Tatsuya likes exercising at the gym and going to parks to relax.
