Skip works with management teams and boards of directors of life science companies on business strategy, organizational development, partnerships and fundraising.. He also serves as Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research.


Career Highlights:

A pharmacist by training, Skip previously worked in the pharmaceutical industry and then built and led two industry leading life sciences consulting firms, first at Arthur D. Little in Cambridge, MA and then at Health Advances in Weston, MA. Skip has also managed and advised numerous start-up companies including Aruna Biomedical, Noveome Therapeutics and T-Breeders.

Participates in numerous outdoor activities including skiing, sailing, golf, hiking and biking. Annually volunteers and rides in the New England Parkinson’s Ride to support Parkinson’s Disease research held in Saco, ME.



His partner, Ann Irving is actively involved in volunteer biking activities including Community Bicycle Center in Biddeford, Portland Wheelers adaptive biking, the Bicycle Coalition of Maine as well as 100+ Women of Southern Maine. Traveling the US in their RV is also a priority for Skip and Ann.
