Gilbert Brook

Gilbert joined Locust Walk in 2020 as an analyst in the Boston Office. Prior to Locust Walk, he graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a B.A. in Economics. Throughout his time in school, he gained research experience while working as an undergraduate research assistant at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. Specifically, Gilbert worked on finding new targets for immunotherapy techniques for a Stand Up To Cancer project in the Neuropathology Core Laboratory.

During his time at Penn, Gilbert also walked onto the Division I lacrosse team as a goalie, became president of Penn’s chapter of Delta Tau Delta Fraternity, and volunteered with the Young Quakers Program as a mentor for children in West Philadelphia.

Before working at Locust Walk, Gilbert interned as a private debt summer analyst at White Oak Healthcare Finance where he worked with the ABL and Cash Flow Credit teams on live deals and performed market research on healthcare-focused business development companies. Before this, Gilbert also interned as a private equity summer analyst at Alexsar Capital.

In his free time, Gilbert enjoys playing lacrosse, motorcycling, and spending time with friends and family.

He is a FINRA registered representative and holds his Series 79 and 63 licenses.
